What I’m Loving on a Snowy Day

Today we woke up to this sight:

Frost on the windowSnow on the side deckStreet View B&W

There is over a foot of snow everywhere, and it’s still coming down. I get to stay home with my hot tea and work, but the hubs had to venture out in the mini blizzard to get to work. It took him a good 30 minutes to clean off the Cavalier and get it warm enough to start melting the sheet of ice on it.

I wanted to share a few of the things I love on this snowy Wednesday, and what better way to do it then linking up with the beautiful Jamie and What I’m Loving Wednesday.

I am loving the new tires on our Camaro, makes it a lot easier to drive around in the snow, instead of getting stuck.

We will hopefully never see the sight above. Poor car stuck in the snow and unable to get into the garage. The new tires are actually made to grip the snow and get us going.

I’m also loving the new ZL1 Camaros and kind of wanting one.

Isn’t it beautiful?! Completely unpractical, but drool-worthy!

I am loving the floorplan of our to be house

I am not loving that we still don’t have a move date, and that we may have to build the house from ground up rather then walk into the already built, ready to move in house we saw on our trip to Tucson.

I am loving the fact that we’ll be getting our wedding photos done, finally!!! After two years of marriage we’ll have beautiful, professional photos done by my good friend Lena Karabushin. She was the mastermind behind our engagement shots.

I’m loving that by tomorrow evening, these dresses will be delivered to me.

And loving the fact that in just 8 days we’ll be heading out on a little road trip to Texas.

I’m especially loving my 50mm f1.4 lens. It is AHmazing and worth every little penny.

And as always I’m loving this man:

What I’m Loving Wednesday

It’s Wednesday, and that means that I’m link up with beautiful Jamie over at This Kind of Love.

I’m Loving that it only took $55.00 to fill up a full tank in the Camaro yesterday. Yup. I was paying that for a half tank about a month ago. While it might not seem like gas prices have dropped, I can see it reflect on how much I pay to fill my tank.

Honestly I was starting to feel like I’d have to give up my first born child as well, to try and get the car filled.

I am loving these beautiful Louboutins

I would do right about anything right now to get my hands on a pair of these babies. They would be perfect for an outfit I have in mind, and I am more than willing to pay the obnoxious price for them. Sadly, I cannot find anywhere where they are still available. Seems like I was late to the party, and missed out on these perfect pumps.

Sad smile

Here is another pair that I would love to own right now. This one, I cannot find in this color, however I did find it in a brown and black, which aren’t as flattering as this.

And these ones. These however, are on the CL online store at $900. I think they might have to wait until I have a real job that can afford to spend a paycheck on these beauties. I have to admit, while I hate spending extra cash when I can get things for half price, especially when it comes to clothes, shoes are not in this category. I LOVE getting deals, but am totally willing to spend extra on a pair of Loubies. This may be the only designer I am willing to spend extra on.

Smile

I’m also Loving these jeans:

I love the wide leg and cuff look, and really need to invest in a few nice jeans. Mine are getting a bit beat up, since I keep wearing the same three pairs.

And these boot-cuts. I personally just love the Flur-De-Lis on the butt!

I’m Loving these dresses:

Finally I’m Loving these:

I hope you all are having a better Wednesday than me. My car decided not to work this morning, and my face feels awful due to my sinus infection. However, it’s overall a pretty awesome day.

What I’m Loving Wednesday

It seems that I’ve been loving lots of things lately so I’m linking up with Jamie over at this kind of love.

I’m loving that we’ll be visiting the Grand Canyon in two months time with some of our best friends

It’s hard to beat this kind of natural beauty and we hear August is some of the best time to go.

These pumps!

And the fact that they should be arriving at my doorstep sometime today. Yay! for sexy nude pumps.

These Dresses

You may think I’m crazy, but I was wearing a long ribbed tank the other day while trying to find a pair of jeans to wear, and the hubby commented that a dress like that would look cute. I remembered seeing them at Victoria Secret and here they are.

I also came across this dress while looking for the two above. Yup. I’m in love.

And this.

Smile

Okay and one last one

How I wish I had a bottomless wallet that could afford all these pretty dresses.

I’m kind of… sort of… loving the fact that this could be our new city, potentially

Austin, Texas

or this

Dallas, Texas

Loving that I will have the opportunity and the choice to make our first house look like this:

These are just ideas, but some that come from the builder that we are looking to build with. These models and styles are available both in Austin and Dallas area.

I just really love the fact that I will walk into a home that I have chosen rather then one that will need to be scrubbed and cleaned. Our first home will have everything that we wont and will need zero amount of “prettying up.” I hope I don’t sound like a snob, but neither the Mister nor I really get into home improvement DIY projects so if we moved into an older home and it didn’t have hardwood floors we’d have to hire someone to replace the carpet or redo counters or what not. So in order to save us the time, headache and money we have finally decided to build… Not custom just yet, but brand new for sure.

Ha! On that note… I’ll finish up with the fact that I’m always and forever loving my amazing husband!

It was kind of freezing on graduation day. Hence the hoodie, leather jacket and gloves.

Graduation – Dress to Impress

Graduation Outfit

Print dress, 425 GBP Christian louboutin shoes, $610 Gionni vintage jewelry, 20 GBP Ben Amun pearl jewelry, $170 Flower hair accessory, $4.99

If money was not an issue, this would be the outfit I would be wearing next Saturday under the ugly cap and gown.

I have a similar dress, and jewelry. I might have to find shoes and the headband though. The colors will be red, black and white though.

Hope y’all are having a great Saturday… I’m spending my day studying. BOO!

Wednesday Wants

I am sure most of you are getting sick of hearing about my chemistry and my pathetic need to pass the class so that I can be done with school… but that is my current want. Above all else I want to graduate. I will even give up shopping for a month, forgo a tropical vacation, and so on if I could just get it done.

In order to pass the class a need to get As on all the rest of my assignments, quizzes and of course the final exam.

An A, not an A+, but a little lousy A is all I am asking for for my final exam in this class. I have As, solid As in all my other classes, and a 42% in my chemistry class. I would be more then happy give up my As in the other classes to insure that I pass this one. I’ve never had to struggle with a class as much as I am struggling with this one, and it is sad, and pathetic… but what can I do? Sad smile

My other wants are defiantly more cheery Smile

I am loving this Lisa Jayne Dann maxi dress. At $295.85 it is a little out of my current budget, but it is defiantly on the to buy list.

image

I’m also really wanting some new nail polish colors. This one is called Austin-taisiouse Turquoise from the OPI Texas collection. I think I might have to stop buy and get a bottle of this to cheer myself up. After the awful test.

I really want and need some more workout music. So if you have any suggestions I would love to hear them!

I think that about wraps it up for my Wednesday Wants. I’m going to stick a link up link in case anyone wants to link up to this today!

Hope y’all have a fantastic Hump Day!
