…When life is slow, laundry gets done, and your nose wont stop running.
I remember when my grandmother would do all the laundry by hand, the hand it outside the balcony to dry. I loved the smell of the sheets after you pulled them back in. Spring never smelled so good, then on fresh, clean sheets!
Then, I got my first apartment and had to do laundry by myself, instead of throwing it in the wash pile and having it delivered clean and folded to my room.
And so I developed a serious dislike of laundry. Soon after, my laundry doubled due to the husband, and my lack of motivation or desire to actually get things done. The fact that I have enough clothing including underwear and socks to last me six months, if not more really helped the laundry pile up.
Not only did I hate doing the laundry, my tiny laundry room in the apartment got really crammed and hot. The washing machine was very loud and the drier louder (if that was possible).
So today, when I only had three loads of laundry, I was excited. This is a major achievement! You have NO IDEA. Now, all the laundry is done and folded, not yet put away though. Either way, I’m pretty happy!
My runny nose and heavy sinus didn’t really let me off the couch very much… But did manage a pretty fantastic dinner.
Combine homemade BBQ ribs with a can of Country Style Bush’s Beans and a left over salad from the night before!
You get this!
Combine with a side of homemade ice tea, and you’ve got yourself an ah-mazing, southern Sunday dinner.
<3 Time for rest and such!

ReplyDeleteI hate, hate, hate doing laundry. I don't mind washing it I feel like a chemist pouring in the soap. But I am looking for the magic spell that will get it back into my drawers folded and fluffy.
